Fiat Payment Safety Guide

How to prevent common bank fraud, chargeback attempts, and fraudulent payment claims.

Effective Date / Last Updated: September 2026

1. Verify Within Your Bank App

Always log directly into your official bank application or mobile net banking to verify incoming funds. Do not trust SMS alerts, third-party payment screenshots, or email receipts, as these can easily be fabricated or delayed.

2. Never Include Crypto Remarks in Bank Transfers

When transferring INR via UPI or IMPS, do not write terms such as "Crypto", "USDT", "BTC", "Binance", or "Lionex" in the transaction remark or note field. Use neutral descriptions such as "Personal Transfer" or invoice reference numbers to prevent arbitrary bank flag freezes.

3. Matched KYC Account Rule

Only accept payments from a bank account that exactly matches the counterparty's verified name on LionexBridge. If a payment arrives from a third-party account, do not release escrow; immediately open a dispute.
